Rossioglossum grande

This epiphyte can be found growing from Mexico to Honduras in moist forests up to 2700m in elevation. It is a cool to intermediate grower that blooms from autumn to spring bearing flowers 15 cm in diameter on an inflorescence that can reach 30 cm in length. The flowers are waxy and long lasting.
