Restrepia trichoglossa
The Hairy Tongued Restrepia is a small epiphyte/lithophyte found in the cloud forests of Panama, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador at elevations up to 3200m. It requires shade, high humidity, year round watering and intermediate to cool conditions. It should be potted in a small pot with an epiphyte mix. The flower has two fused lateral sepals that are large compared to the dorsal sepal. Two of the petals are long and thin. It blooms during the summer and early autumn.
