Pollardia ghiesbreghtiana
Ghiesbreght's Pollardia is a dwarf epiphyte with pseudobulbs found in Mexico, especially on the Pacific Coast) in pine oak forests at elevations of 2000 to 2700 m. As such, this is a cool to intermediate growing species that requires a lot of water during active growth, once the pseudobulbs have reached maturity a dry rest should be induced for flowering. Moderate bright light and humidity are required. This species is best grown on tree ferns. The inflorescences have one to five flowers and blooms in the spring and winter.
