Physosiphon tubatus

This is a small epiphyte from Mexico and Guatemala that can be found growing in montane regions at elevations around 3500m. It requires frequent water during growth, moderate (indirect) light, moderate humidity and cool growing conditions. It can be grown in a pot but is best mounted. The inflorescence has many to a hundred flowers that bloom in the summer. The tube-forming flower has a reddish-brown sepal that projects outwards at the end of the tube.
