Oncidium wentworthianum

Wentworth's Oncidium is a medium to large epiphyte with pseudobulbs that can be found in Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala at elevations up to 1500m. It is an intermediate grower that requires bright light, humid conditions and generous watering during active growth. It is best potted in an epiphyte mix. The inflorescences bear up to 30 flowers that bloom during the spring, summer and fall. The sepals and petals are yellow and spotted in a light brown color with a large multi-lobed lip similar in appearance.
