Odontoglossum praestans
This species is a small sized epiphyte that blooms in the spring. It bears up to nine flowers on a single inflorescence that arises from mature psuedobulbs. It can be found hiding on the brush covered slopes in wet montane forests from Colombia to Peru at elevations of up to 1800 meters. This is a warm to cool growing species that prefers partial shade and lots of humidity.
