Miltonia regnellii
A medium sized epiphyte found from Brazil to Peru. It blooms in the spring and summer with flowers up to 3 inches in size on inflorescence that can reach up to 15 inches in height. They are best grown in pots or mounted on tree fern in a cool to hot partially shaded environment. Lots of water should be provided while growing, but should be cut down after blooming. The leaves of this species often have a yellow tinge to them, so a grower should not be too concerned.
