Miltonia flavescens
This species is found in the hot lowlands of Brazil to Paraguay and Argentina growing on trees. The leaves can reach up to 30 cm long and the inflorescence is longer that the leaves and can bear up to ten fragrant flowers. It is best grown on a large slab because of its long rhizome. This species can be grown under similar conditions to that of Cattleyas, but the leaves are sensitive to dehydration and should be misted to prevent crinkling.
