Maxillaria meleagris

This species is commonly called the Maxillaria Orchid and can be found in Mexican and Guatemalan rainforests at high altitudes. It is a medium sized, cool growing species that prefers moderate light and high humidity and a drier winter. The coconut-scented flowers bloom from summer to autumn.
