Masdevallia coccinea

The Scarlet Masdevallia is a small/medium epiphyte/lithophyte/terrestrial found growing in Colombia and Peru at elevations up to 2800m. Requires generous water during active growth, partial shade, moderate to high humidity and cool growing conditions. Pot with an epiphyte mix or mount. Bloom during spring and summer.
