Masdevallia carruthersiana

Carruther's Masdevallia is a small epiphyte with rhizomes from Ecuador where it can be found growing at elevations up to 2500m. It requires generous water during active growth, partial shade, moderate to high humidity and cool growing conditions. It can be grown in an epiphyte mix or mounted and blooms during the summer.
