Masdevallia calura

The Long-Sepaled Masdevallia is an epiphyte with rhizomes found in the montane rainforests of Costa Rica from elevations of 200 to 2000m. It requires generous water during active growth, partial shade, moderate to high humidity and warm growing conditions. It can be potted in an epiphyte mix or mounted and blooms during the spring with fuchsia colored sepals and pale green sepal tails.
