Dracula amaliae
This is a small to medium sized epiphyte with creeping rhizomes from Western Colombia. It requires full shade, high humidity and cool growing conditions. It is best grown in a pot with a well draining epiphyte mix. The flowers bloom in the winter on an erect inflorescence. The sepals are crme colored with yellow coloration in the middle and dark purple tails and a light pink lip.
