Dendrobium densiflorum
This species is a small to medium sized epiphyte that can be found growing on moss covered trunks/branches of trees in the Himalayas to Burma, Thailand, Laos and Southwest China. It is a cool to warm growing species that likes partial shade. It blooms from winter through the fall on a pendant about 20 cm long with dense clusters of flowers that are short-lived but scented. It requires a dry winter rest from water and fertilizer.
