Dendrobium bigibbum ssp. phalaenopsis-alba
Called the Cooktown Orchid in Australia, this species is a medium to large sized epiphyte and sometimes lithophytes. It can be found growing in warm semi-arid and low elevation habitats in high light. The long lasting flowers arise after a moderate winter rest, but can bloom at any time of the year.
