Cattleya forbesii
This is an adaptable species from the swampy coastal areas and forested riverbanks of Brazil. It is usually an epiphyte, but sometimes lithophyte that prefers intermediate to hot growing conditions. Each inflorescence produces up to five flowers, each about 10cm in width, during the spring and summer.
