Cattleya bicolor
An endemic to Brazil, this species can be found growing in large clumps on trees and rocks under bright light and with moderate humidity. In cultivation it should be grown in intermediate to hot growing conditions. This species is best grown in a pot or basket with epiphyte mix or mounted on tree fern. The inflorescences have up to ten fragrant flowers that bloom in the autumn.
