Catasetum macroglossum

This is an epiphytic species from Tropical Central America, South America and the West Indies that prefers moderate shade as well as intermediate to warm growing conditions with a range of 15-18C and a resting temperature from 12-15C. It should be watered generously during active growth, but given a definite dry season.
