Calanthe rubens

This is a deciduous species from Thailand, the Malay Peninsula and the Philippines where it grows at low to moderate altitudes. The inflorescence can reach up to 30 cm long and bear about 12 flowers during the autumn. Requires intermediate to hot growing conditions.
